FlightSafe Music generates music synchronization licenses for placement in film and television applications such as major theatrical releases, independent films, documentaries, sitcoms, commercials, and TV shows. FlightSafe Music is a full-service music publishing company registered with BMI, with Apix Music as its ASCAP sister company.

Buyers

FlightSafe works with buyers to see the music placement process through, from the song to the synchronization license. The music placement process is simple when working with FlightSafe. To ensure that producers get the best value and quality for their investment, we go on location to network with everyone from film crews to producers. FlightSafe staff hit all the major film festivals such as Sundance, Cannes, the American Film Market, Tribeca and the San Francisco International Film Festival. In addition, FlightSafe Music works with film producers by investing in independent films through a special company fund.

Artists, if we like your music and believe it has commercial potential we normally begin with a position on the FlightSafe Music website — either on the Music & Artists page or on the home page. We also offer an advertising service through which artists can display their wares on the FlightSafe site, with one month home page placement opportunities for select artists. We offer publishing deals ranging from non-exclusive to exclusive depending on individual situations. FlightSafe also offers marketing arrangements without publishing for certain situations. We look for new talent through the QuickLaunch Song Contest, for which we have an online submission relationship with Sonicbids. The Song Contest offers winners cash prizes and inclusion on the FlightSafe website. All song contest submissions are considered for placement opportunities in film and television. We also add to our catalog by listening to emerging acts at music festivals such as South-by-Southwest.
